I’m a PhD in Physics and father who enjoys doing science and taking pictures outdoors. I live in S.C. de Bariloche, Argentina, where I can both do cutting edge science and dabble in my hobbies of hiking and photography.
My current work at the Photonics and Optoelectronics Laboratory, a research group in the Bariloche Atomic Center, is related to the study and control of the optical, acoustic and electronic properties of semiconductor nanostructures. You can find more about my scientific profile here.
My photographic subjects are quite diverse: nature, landscape, astrophotography, cars, cityscapes… basically anything interesting you can point a camera to. I don’t only take the pictures, but I’m also interested in processing them using only Free Software. You can see more here.
